Death Becomes Me & Chasing Azrael News

Chasing Azrael by Hazel Butler

With Chasing Azrael storming the charts on Amazon we thought it was about time we introduced you to a couple of new things concerning Hazel Butler’s Deathly Insanity Series. First and foremost, you will notice the cover of Chasing Azrael has changed. Yes, Hazel finally won and we’ve done away with the old cover. If you’re wondering why this was done, there were a number of reasons, but it boiled down to us (and by ‘us’ we mostly mean Hazel, despite the fact she painted the original cover) being unhappy with how it turned out. We wanted something more engaging and less… brown. We’ve replaced it with a shiny new one in a style that will be emulated throughout the rest of the series, which brings us to our next point, and the reveal of the cover for Death Becomes Me. Yes, we’re delighted to introduce you to Evelynn, the street punk anti-heroine of the second book in the series. She’s young, feisty, dark, and inescapably damaged.

And that’s before her boyfriend steals her heart.

Death Becomes Me is a fast-paced dive headlong into the supernatural world we saw glimpses of in Chasing Azrael, and for those of you wondering just what was up with all those references to Robert and werewolves in book one, not to mention who the hell the girl with the dreadlocks is, well, brace yourself for finding out in book two. We don’t want to give too much away at this stage but we’re delighted with this second installment and the dark take it has on many of paranormal fantasy’s most-used tropes – in particular vampires, werewolves, witches and demons. This is definitely a must-read for any fans of the supernatural, but be warned, it’s not for the faint-hearted.

Death Becomes Me is scheduled for release as part of our 2015 catalogue. Make sure you follow our Facebook page and subscribe to the news feed to keep up to date on all the latest.
